“Terry and I have been working with Steve Bassett and Bassett Custom Homes for years. Steve has done small jobs, like installing a new front door to our camp in Western Maine. To a complete renovation to the living room and office of our apartment. Steve and his crew installed new floors, walls and moldings. The best thing was custom floor to ceiling built-in bookshelves along with built-in desks. Steve kept us in the loop and described everything he was going to do. He was good about asking questions about what we wanted and incorporated them into to the living room and office

The job that we are most proud of that Steve and his crew did was the complete demolition and rebuild of our property in Portland, Maine. Steve came to us with a computerized representation of his ideas for the new house. He plugged his computer in to our widescreen TV and walked us through what he was thinking. We knew what the house was going to look like before he even started construction. He asked a lot of questions and incorporated them into his design of the house. After we approved the basic design of the house that was online, Steve then presented us with the blueprints of the house to review and approve. We were included in all aspects of the construction. The work was done quickly and was kept close to budget.
Steve and his crew were a pleasure to work with. Terry and I would have Steve and Bassett Custom Homes do any construction or renovation job that we had.
